Hellraiser Movies in Order
Open the box. Follow every descent.
Hellraiser begins as a tightly connected story about desire, pain, and the Cenobites before later sequels become increasingly standalone.
Release order is the useful route. The 2022 film is a reimagining rather than a continuation and is separated accordingly.
The quick answer

The first four films form the clearest connected arc. Inferno through Judgment are later standalone or loosely connected sequel stories. Hellraiser (2022) is a fresh reimagining with a different mythology and should be watched independently.
Hellraiser Frequently Asked Questions
Are all Hellraiser films connected?
The first four share the strongest continuity. The later direct-to-video sequels use recurring mythology more than one continuous story.
Is Hellraiser (2022) a sequel?
No. It is a separate reimagining with new characters and its own interpretation of the Cenobites and puzzle box.
What is the best first-time order?
Use release order through Bloodline, then continue with the later sequels if desired. Finish with the independent 2022 reimagining.
