The short version

You can use the full HorroRated archive without accepting analytics. If you choose necessary only, Google Analytics does not load. You can revisit your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Essential preference storage

The site stores your analytics choice in your browser's local storage. This prevents the consent panel from appearing on every page. The preference does not contain your name, email address, or account information.

Optional Google Analytics

If you select Allow analytics, HorroRated loads Google Analytics 4. It may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to understand visits and usage patterns. Information may include pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device details, referral source, and measured interactions such as scrolling or outbound-link clicks.

HorroRated's consent configuration does not grant advertising storage, ad personalization, or ad-user-data permission. Analytics is used to understand and improve the archive, not to unlock site features.

Changing your choice

Open cookie settings and choose again. Selecting necessary only tells Google that analytics storage is denied and removes HorroRated's Google Analytics cookies that are available to the site.

Contact form and external websites

The contact form prepares a message in your own email application rather than submitting it to a HorroRated website database. When you follow a link to TMDB, a streaming service, a game storefront, YouTube, or another external website, that service's privacy practices apply.
